Neelwal

Neelwal (नीलवाल, नीलवाळ) (Nilwal) is a small village in west Delhi.

Gets name after Neela Daral

Location

It is slightly away from National Highway No. 10. The names of neighbouring villages are Dichaon Kalan, and Tikri Kalan.

हरयाणवी बोली में इस गांव को "लीलवाळ" भी बोल देते हैं ।

History

Daral clan ancestors migrated from another village - Duralla on the outskirts of Delhi. An ancestor had three sons namely Tika, Neela and Hira. The villages got their names after them respectively -

• Tikri Kalan after Tika,
• Neelwal after Neela and
• Hiran Kudna after Hira
