Pur khas (पुर खास) or Purkhas (पुरखास) is a large village in Gannaur tahsil of Sonipat district in Haryana.
This village is also known by the name Purkhas Rathi and Purkhas Dhiran
Location
It is close to village Paanchi. and 16 km away from district Sonipat and 5 from tehsil Gannaur

Purkhas is known by its excellent players in different sports. There are over 1200 national medalist player from Purkhas in more than 30 games

- Thambu Ram Rathi (Jemadar) (08.04.1913 - 02.03.1948), Vir Chakra (posthumous), became martyr on 02.03.1948 during Indo-Pak War 1947-48. He was from Purkhas village in Gannaur tahsil of Sonipat district in Haryana.
