Education
Indian favorite Ranna Gill has always had a passion for fashion. She received an associate’s degree from the National Institure of Fashion Technology in New Delhi, India, and then went on to pursue further design studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, the United States of America.
Professional life
Ranna Gill is the CEO and designer of RANNA GiLL, a global fashion label for women. She incorporates the colorful culture of India with beautiful silhouettes that can be worn by women in any country. Her collections are known for colors, prints and elegance. Ranna Gill proves that high-end Indian fashion for women can be strut down the beaches of LA or the streets of Paris and New York.
The Label RANNA GiLL is a reputated brand in India, and is also being recognized globally. The label owns boutiques across India and also retails from the U.S. and Middle East market, where the brand has a strong following.
She worked with some of the most influential American designers, including Ralph Lauren and Donna Karan.
In 1996, she returned to India and launched her own label, RANNA GiLL. From there, the rest is history. RANNA GiLL has expanded to a full collection of ready-to-wear and accessories including handbags and jewelry.
Ranna Gill’s unique selling proposition is her creativity and sensitivity through which she has ensured that every collection has a different style statement while keeping her basic language. The techniques, detailing, style and quality are some of the defining symbols of her garments.
Family
Ranna Gill is married to Jason Holland. She has two children and lives with her family in New Delhi.
