Rori (रोड़ी), is a big village in tahsil and district Sirsa in Haryana.

History

Rori is a constituency of Haryana Vidhan Sabha. Shri Om Prakash Chautala has also won election from this constituency.

Pāṇini mentions a number of towns in the region including Aishukari, Taushayana and Rori, which have been identified with Hisar, Tohana and Rohri respectively.

Roni (रोणी) is a place name mentioned by Panini in Ashtadhyayi (4.2.78). It has been identified with Rori Sirsa in Sirsa, Haryana.
