Sarankul (सरणकुल) is a small town under the district Nayagarh of Odisha. It is mainly famous for the Laddubaba Temple.

Location

This small and beautiful town Sarankul is situated at the foot of the hill "Bhandar" and beside Kusumi River, at a distance of 100 km from the Capital "Bhubaneswar" of Odisha. New Jagannath Sadak starts from Sarankul and joins western Odisha with Puri.

History

The famous festival of this holy place is Shivaratri which is celebrated to worship Ladubaba.

सरणकुल या शरणकुल भारत के ओड़िशा राज्य के नयागढ़ ज़िले में स्थित एक गाँव है। यह नगर भंडार पर्वत के तलहटी में कुसुमी नदी के किनारे उड़ीसा की राजधानी भुवनेश्वर से 100 किमी दूरी पर स्थित है जो न्यू-जगन्नाथ सड़क से सीधा पुरी से जुड़ा हुआ है।
