Satyendra Pal Chaudhary was born and brought up in Village Basi Bagpat in District Baghpat and went to Bollywood to make a good name for himself.
As an artist and Director
He was good friends with famous producer Prakash Mehra and both studied together in Meerut before reaching Mumbai to try luck in Bollywood. He co-produced first film 'Haseena Maan Jayegi' and also appeared in one of the songs on the screen in the movie.
As Producer
He then became producer of blockbusters starring Amitabh Bachchan like 'Namak Halal, Hera Pheri, Sharabi . In 1985 his movie 'Sharabi' received the Filmfare award for best film.
He passed away on 29th April, 2014 and is survived by his son and wife.[1]
