Sayan (साइण) [1] Sayanh (सायण) [2] Sawanch [3] is a gotra of Jats. They were supporters of Chauhan Confederacy.

Bhim Singh Dahiya[4] provides us list of Jat clans who were supporters of the Chauhan when they gained political ascendancy. The Sawanch clan supported the ascendant clan Chauhan and become part of a political confederacy.[5]
