Śṛṅgavān (शृङ्गवान्) is the name of a mountain situated at lake Asitoda and mount Vipula, according to the Varāhapurāṇa chapter 75. The Vipula mountain lies on the western side of mount Meru, which is one of the seven mountains located in Jambūdvīpa, ruled over by Āgnīdhra, a grandson of Svāyambhuva Manu, who was created by Brahmā, who was in turn created by Nārāyaṇa, the unknowable all-pervasive primordial being. 1) Śṛṅgavān (शृङ्गवान्).—General. A mountain. It is situated to the north of the region called "Ilāvṛtta". Devī Bhāgavata, 8th Skandha refers to three mountains—Nīlagiri, Śvetagiri, and Śṛṅgavān—which are the sources of many rivers and which stand at intervals of 2,000 miles. Other details
(i) Arjuna crossed this mountain and entered Kuruvarṣa in the course of his triumphal campaign over the northern land.
(ii) This mountain is rich in minerals, is of outstanding brilliance, and is the abode of Siddhas and Cāraṇas. (Mahābhārata Bhīṣma Parva, Chapter 6, Verse 5).
(iii) Sañjaya spoke at length about this mountain to Dhṛtarāṣṭra. (Mahābhārata Bhīṣma Parva, Chapter 8, Verse 8).

2) Śṛṅgavān (शृङ्गवान्).—An ancient sage. He was the son of Gālava. He married by force, a woman named Vṛddhakanyā. After a night’s married life, Vṛddhakanyā departed. विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर [1] ने लेख किया है ...शृंगवान् (AS, p.907): पौराणिक भूगोल के अनुसार मेरु के उत्तर की ओर एक पर्वत श्रेणी जो पूर्व-पश्चिम की ओर समुद्र तक विस्तृत है। शृंगवान् को विष्णु पुराण 2,2,10 में श्रंगी कहा गया है-‘नीलः श्वेतश्च श्रंगी च उत्तररे वर्षपर्वताः’। महाभारत के अनुसार श्रंगवान के तीन शिखर हैं, एक मणिमय दूसरा सुवर्णमय और तीसरा सर्वरत्नमय है। वहाँ स्वयंप्रभा देवी नित्य निवास करती हैं। श्रंगवान के उत्तर समुद्र के निकट ऐरावतवर्ष है जहाँ सूर्य तापरहित है। वहां के मनुष्य कभी [p.908]:बूढ़े नहीं होते - ‘श्रंगाणि च विचित्राणि त्रीण्येव मनुजाधिप, एकं मणिमयं तत्र तथैकं रौक्ममद्भुतम, सर्वरत्नमयं चैकं भवनैरुपशोभितम्। तत्र स्वयं प्रभादेवी नित्यं वसति शांडिली, उत्तरणतु श्रंगस्य समुद्रान्ते जनाधिप। वर्षमैरावतं नाम तस्माच्छंगमतः परम्, न तत्र सूर्यस्तपति न जीर्यन्ते च मानवाः’। भीष्म 8,8-9-10-11. जैन ग्रंथ जंबूद्वीप-प्रज्ञप्ति में श्रंगवान की जंबूद्वीप के 6 वर्ष पर्वतों में गणना की गई है।
