Sube Singh Rana (Born: 2.4.1936-12.4.2021) was MA Ph.D in Sanskrit. He was Principal Shivaji college (1976 - 1988), Dean of Colleges Delhi University (1988 -2000) lastly Associated with Surajmal Memorial Education Society, New Delhi.

Interests

Prakrit and Sanskrit inscriptions of ancient India, especially those of the Mauryan, Gupta and post Gupta periods including their decipherment from original Brahmi script.
