Ugrapur Jalaun District
Ugrapur is a small Village in Madhogarh Block in Jalaun District of Uttar Pradesh, India. It comes under Ugrapur Panchayath. It belongs to Jhansi Division . It is located 22 KM towards North from District head quarters Orai. Ugrapur is surrounded by Rampura Block towards North , Jalaun Block towards East , Raon Block towards west , Nadigaon Block towards South.[1]

विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[2] ने लेख किया है ... उग्रपुर (AS, p.86) कंबोज (प्राचीन कंबोडिया) का एक नगर था। उग्रपुर को भारत के औपनिवेशिकों ने बसाया था। कंबोज में हिन्दू नरेशों ने लगभग 13 सौ वर्षों तक राज्य किया था।
