Kapil Dev Article

Reg. your query about Kapil Dev. Actually his gotra (Nikhanj) is not listed in Jat Gotras list. Our sources told that his parents came from Pakistan (1947 or so) and settled down in Faridabad. His being a resident of Haryana does not necessarily mean that he is from Jat community. That is why I have given Non-Jat category to this article. Please do more research before coming to a conclusion. Dayanand Deswal (talk) 14:52, 25 November 2023 (UTC)

Editing Wikipedia

Reg. your query on adding information on Wikipedia. Laxman Burdak ji is also active on wikipedia. So, I would suggest that you seek guidance from him about information on Jats on that portal. Dayanand Deswal (talk) 15:21, 6 December 2023 (UTC)

Jat History is not just a topic that can be covered in few articles, but a Jat can definitely pursue the history of his own tribe/clan easily if he's dedicated. I will appreciate your courage for stepping it in Wikipedia, however the moderators there on Wikipedia will hardly going to digest the simple facts such as Yuechis are just the Chinese transliteration of the Gut-ti or Jats. Still if you are going to create articles on Jat people there, you can take D S Ahlawat's (Jat Viro Ka Itihas, Hindi) writings as one of major source along with other books. However the Sakae (Scythia), Heng-nu (Henga), Tartars (Turushkas or Tocharians), are some of the tribes of Jat/scythia people who posthumously ruled over all of Eurasia (Europe and Asia) of which one (a branch) Heng-Nu, on I am writing an article Heng-Nu Jats which I also publish in future when it's ready (complete) to do so; may helpful in your writings as many new sources have been scraped out from the pages of historical books have added there. All the best if needed then please seek for any kind of help.
