Vaprakeshvara (वप्रकेश्वर) was the ancient name of Muarakaman located on Kutie region in Borneo in Indonesia.

Kutei Inscription-B: When the illustrious and eminent prince King Mulavarman had given a gift of 20000 cattle to the Brahmanswho resemble the sacrificial fire, at the most sacred place, namely Vaprakeshvara, for that deed of merit this sacrificial post has been made by the priests who had come hither. वप्रकेश्वर
वप्रकेश्वर (AS, p.832): वोर्नियो द्वीप (इंडोनेशिया) के कोटी प्रदेश में स्थित मुआराकामन का प्राचीन नाम है। चौथी शती ई. में यहाँ एक हिन्दू राज्य स्थित था। इस प्रदेश के शासक मूलवर्मन ने 400 ई. के लगभग वप्रकेश्वर में 'बहुसुवर्णक' नामक महायज्ञ किया था और बीस सहस्त्र गायें ब्राह्मणों कों दान में दी थीं। यह सूचना इस स्थान से प्राप्त चार संस्कृत अभिलेखों से मिलती है। [2]
