Virender Singh Thakran (विरेन्द्रसिंह ठाकरान) is a Wrestler, Gold Medalist in South Asian Games and Silver Medalist in Commonwealth Games. He was awarded Bharat Kumar and a very popular wrestler in north India in Dangals (A very popular style of competition of wrestling in Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh).

Virender Singh was born on March 16, 1971 at Jharsa village in Gurgaon district of Haryana. He got his training in wrestling at Guru Hanuman Akhara, Delhi.
