Dr Harswarup Singh (डॉ हरस्वरुप सिंह) was Chairman of the International Cotton Committee in Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) for quite some time. He was also Vice Chancellor of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University (CCSHAU), Member of Planning Commission, Lt.Governor of Pandichery and also High Commissioner of India to Maldives. He also wrote a book named Indian Bureaucracy
