Kalya (कल्या) Kalya (कालया) is a gotra of Jats[1] in Madhya Pradesh.
Origin
These people are descendants of Nagavanshi Kali (काली) [2]/Kala (काला).[3]
History
H.A. Rose writes about Kalya (कल्या), (1) a Kharral clan (agricultural) found in Montgomery: (2) a Rajput clan (agricultural) found in Amritsar, and (3) an Awan clan (agricultural) found in Amritsar. [4]
