Naoshera
Naoshera (नौशेहरा), also 'Naushehra', Nowshera, Naushirwan (Urdu: نوشہره), is a village and one of the 51 Union Councils of Khushab District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan.
The Founders
History
Sir Lepel H. Griffin writes that Chaudhari Sarwani 15th in descend from Sher, founder of clan, built the village of Naoshera, otherwise known as Raipur Sarwani and got in jagir. [1]
Notable persons
- Sirdar Jassa Singh, Naoshera (b. 1793) was Shergill-Jat, in the List of Punjab Chiefs.
