Sënâdu/Senadu (सेणाडु) village mentioned in (V.39) of Kharod stone Inscription of Ratnadeva II : Chedi year 933 (1181 AD) has been identified with Sonada, 15 miles to the east of Kharôd in the Janjgir tahsil.....(V.39) He (Gangâdhara) excavated at the village called Sēṇāḍu (सेणाडु) a very large lotus-pool, the blooming lotuses in which are kissed by swarms of lovely humming bees. [2]
