Kalyar (कल्यर) or Kalhar is a Muslim Jat clan found in Pakistan.

History

H.A. Rose^[1] writes that Kalyar (कल्यार), (1) a Jat clan is found in Multan.

(2) a Rajput clan is found in Shahpur.

Notable persons

Kalyar - The Kalyar claim descent from the Bhattis. They are the principal tribe of the Kirana Bar. They are found in Sargodha, Jhang, Multan, Muzaffargarh and Faisalabad districts.
