Adhchini

Adhchini (अधचीनी) is a village in south Delhi.

Location

Adhchini village is situated on Sri Aurobindo Marg and near the N.C.E.R.T. and IIT Delhi, on the Mehrauli - Gurgaon road. Adhchini is now a fully urbanised village (no agricultural lands).

• Kataria
• Sejwal
• Farswal
• Singhal

The majority in the village is of Sejwal Jat families. Kataria's are only two or three families.

Population

Many Kataria, Sejwal families shifted to Choma Khera village in Gurugram District of Haryana before Independence.
