The village akoli is known for its participation in 1942s QUIT INDIA Movement. The British forces had fired from railway track on villagers one person from kuhi lost his leg is still alive. Bullet marks were available on some walls of houses out side village. Latter the villers set on fire the kuhi police station and burn all the police records and de-thrown the railway track.
