Anlayam
Anlayam (आनलायम)[1] is Jat gotra.[2][3]
Origin
It gets its name from Gujarat, which is known as Anarta (आनर्त). [4]
History
Ram Sarup Joon [5] writes that ...Anu gotra is also well known. Anla, Onla, Anlayam, Onra, Antawat etc are the gotras of the Ann dynasty found amongst the Jats. There is reference to King Anlakh in the Mahabharat (Sabha Parva). According to the census of 1911 the number of the Jat belonging to this gotra was 87,000. They are found in Jullundur, Hoshiarpur and Bikaner State. Only Jats are found in Jaipur State.
