Bhata () is a large village in Malani Tehsil of Barmer district in Rajasthan.

History

The village of Bhata (which exists in multiple locations, including Punjab and Rajasthan) is believed to have been settled by the Bhatejas, a jatt clan during the early Mughal or Sikh Empire period (16th–18th century). As landowners and warriors, the Bhatejas established their presence in the region, contributing to the development of agriculture and village administration.
