Ch. Lajpat Rai Alakhpura

Ch. Lajpat Rai from Alakhpura Bhiwani was MLA from hansi 1952 in joint Punjab. The first Graduate from St. Stephens College Delhi, of this area was Ch. Lajpat Rai Alakhpura, who also happens to be the First MLC of joint Punjab in 1952 from Hansi constituncy. His father Ch. Dungar Mal was a Landlord and was philanthropist. Ch. Lajpat Rai Alakhpura started a Kisan Aandolan against Skinners for the ownership of land to the farmers was a Real Gandhian who passed away at the age of 105 years.
