Chitar Pali
Chitar (चितार) is a village in Raipur Pali tahsil of Pali district in Rajasthan.
Location
Chitar is situated in Pali district south of adjoining village Chang Pali and is at a distance of 10 km from Beawar (Ajmer) in west direction.
History
Village is associated with the History of Tejaji. Meenas of this village had stolen the cows of Lachha Gujari for which Tejaji had a war and defeated them.
संत श्री कान्हाराम[1] तेजाजी के पुरातात्विक अवशेष चांग व चांग का नीला खुर न्हालसा (लीलण के खुर का नाल) - अजमेर जिले के ब्यावर शहर से 10 किमी पश्चिम में पाली जिले की रायपुर तहसील के अंतर्गत करणाजी की डांग में यह चांग मिला। वहाँ के सरपंच कालू भाई काठात ने बताया कि उनके अजयसर अजमेर निवासी राव मोहनदादा की बही से भी इस बात की पुष्टि होती है कि उस जमाने में चांग में चीता वंशी मेर-मीणा रहते थे।
