It is famous for Lord Sri Jagannath temple, is a block in Ganjam district in the Indian state of Orissa. It is located about 12 km north-west of the river Rishikulya Asika, Ganjam. It is just 55 km from Silk City Brahmapur,Orissa . Dharakote is famous for Lord Sri Jagannath temple. The jagannath temple looks similar to Puri Temple and Ekadasi Cart festival is famous in local people.
