Gagor (गगोर) is a medium-size village in Rajgarh tahsil of Churu district in Rajasthan.

History

Gagor village was settled by Gaggu Punias (caste-Jat). Ramdev Poonia, a resident of Gagor village, was a freedom fighter. Ramdev Poonia took charge of the village and became the village's numberdar. Ramdev Poonia had only one son, whose name was Lakshminarayan Poonia. Lakshminarayan Poonia has 3 sons whose names are Jagdishchandra Poonia, Pramod Poonia and Narendrapal Poonia respectively.

Population

As per Census-2011 statistics, Gagor village has the total population of 1198 (of which 623 are males while 575 are females).[1]
