Girdhar Pratap Singh
Girdhar Pratap Singh Rana (गिरधर प्रताप सिंह) (1755 - 1757), was the ruler of Gohad Jat state in Madhya Pradesh, India. He became the ruler of Gohad after the fall of Maharaja Bhim Singh Rana. Rana Bhim Singh had no son. He was from Bamraulia gotra of Jats. He ruled Gohad state till 1757.
Rana Girdhar Pratap Singh, Rana of Gohad, fourth and youngest son of Samant Rao Balju, of Nimrol, educ. privately. Adopted by Rana Shri Bhim Singh, and succeeded him on his death, 1755. He d. young, 1757.
Successor
His successor was Maharaja Chhatra Singh Rana (1757-1784).
राणा गिरधर प्रताप सिंह (1755-1757)
राणा भीमसिंह के पुत्र नहीं था. जाट सरदारों ने जाट राजवंश की परम्परा का पालन करते हुये नीरपुरा गांव के सामन्त कुंवर बल्जू के पुत्र गिरधर प्रताप सिंह को सर्व सम्मति से राणा का उत्तरधिकारी चुनकर राजतिलक कर दिया. राणा गिरधर प्रताप सिंह मराठों का सफ़ल प्रतिरोध करते रहे. (Ojha, p.68)
