Achievements
Lt. Col. Jagan Singh Repswal (Retd.) got emergency Commission on 30 August 1964. He fought wars of 1965 and 1971 in Punjab Regiment and got the permanent commission. Later he was transferred to Army Service Corps. After completing 24 years of service in the Indian army he retired on 1 March 1987. Col. Repswal's three generations are serving the Army. His both sons, both grandsons and son-in-law are in Indian Army.
Elder son Brig. Kamal K. Repswal is posted in Andaman. He was awarded with the Sena Medal for his excellent service. He was also awarded with Sword of Honour by the the Indian Military Academy. Presently he is posted in Army Head Quarters after completing National Defence College.
Lt. Col. Jagan Singh's younger son Major General Basant K. Repswal is Gold Medalist from National Defence Academy. He has provided his Services in UNO also.
Lt. Col. Jagan Singh's son in law Col. Yogendra Singh is M.Tech. from IIT Mumbai and specialist in construction of Air Strips. He is presently posted in Army Head quarters.
Brig. Kamal K. Repswal's both sons are in Army. Elder son Major Abhimanyu Repswal is in Armed Core and Major Abhishek Repswal is in Engineering Core of Indian Army.
