Jat-ki-basti (जाट की बस्ती) was village in Sindh, Pakistan visited by James Tod.
History
James Tod[1] in his Itinerary from Jaisalmer to Sehwan, on the right bank of the Indus, and Haidarabad, and return by Umarkot to Jaisalmer writes about Jat-ki-basti (2 coss). — The word, Jāt or jat is here pronounced Zjat. This hamlet ' basti,' is of thirty huts, half a mile from the Indus : hills close to the village.
