Mr. K. S. Kharb is presently working as Executive Director of Som Datt Builders Limited and is also Chairman of Academic Council, Institution of Surveyors, Fellow Emirates & past President of Institution of Surveyors & CASLE (Asia Region) and Vice President of Institute of Construction Project Management. He is a Visiting Faculty for conducting courses on FIDIC Conditions, Contract Management and Arbitration.

He has also authored various books eg "A Guide for Quantity Surveyors, Engineers, Architects and Builders" - available in IV Volumes which are prescribed in the syllabus of Institution of Surveyors, which includes topics on Clauses of FIDIC Conditions and Contract Law.

He has presented many technical papers in large number of National and International Seminars on various subjects relating to FIDIC Conditions, Contract Administration, Management Techniques, Cost Planning and Cost Control, Economic Use of Resources in Construction Projects, Quality Assurance, Contract System, Property Development and Management, Construction Law, Settlement of Disputes, Arbitration and BOT Approach to Infrastructure Development.
