Kharawad

Kharawad (खरावड़) is a large village in Sampala tahsil of Rohtak district of Haryana. Local people also pronounce it as Kalhawad (कलहावड़).
Location
Situated on NH-10, it is well connected with road as well as railway (there is a railway station in the village where all local trains stop). Nearby villages are Ismaila and Khedi Sadh.

History
जि० रोहतक के कहरावर गांव के चौ० फूलसिंह मलिक ने यहां से जाकर जि० मेरठ (वर्तमान में बागपत) में हिसावदा गांव बसाया था।[1]
