Khare
Khare (खरे) [1]/(खारे)[2] / Khara (खरा/खारा) /khehra/khaira (खैरा) is a Jat Gotra found in in Uttar Pradesh. Khaira (खैरा)[3] found in Punjab.
History
Ram Sarup Joon[4] writes that...about 70 Jat Gotras joined the Gujar force and started calling themselves Gujars. Khare is one of them.
Khare in Uttar Pradesh migrated from the Punjab in 18 th century . They are from Khehras in Punjab, khehra or khaira are called khara in local language and from khara they are said to have become khare in some of the regions of Punjab.
