Lakhueen-jo-daro in Sukkur District of Sindh, Pakistan, is an archeological site belonging to Indus Valley Civilization.

Location

The site, which is located in Sukkur District in Sindh, Pakistan. It is around 100 km away from the Mohenjo-daro site on the right bank of Indus River[1][2]

The site was excavated recently.[3] During 2006, aracheologists and students of Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) did excavations in this site.[4] Excavations were also undertaken by Prof. Muhammad Mukhtiar Kazi of University of Sindh during 1996 and 2000.[5]

Lakhueen-jo-daro is located near Sukkur. Material cultural finds of this site indicate that it belongs to the Mature Harappan period. It covers a large area in the form of few mounds.[6]
