Langrial (लंगरियल) is a Muslim Jat clan found in Pakistan.[1]

History

Langrial - The Langrial have a number of traditions. Some claim to be Jats, some claim Rajput ancestry, others claim to be Qureshi Arabs. They are one of the most widespread of the Jat clans, found in Gujrat, Jhelum, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, Vehari, Khanewal and Lodhran districts.

Population

According to 1911 census the Langrial were the principal Muslim Jat clan in:

  • Gujrat District - Langrial (3,736)
  • Multan District - Langrial (753)
