History

Loharka village was founded by Poras Jats. This was the village of zamindars, Raja Bhagwan Singh was the zamindar of 8 villages including Loharkha. Raja Bhagwan Singh was having three brothers. The eldest person of the family becomes zamindar and was given the title of Bawasahab after Bhagwan Singh his son Chaudhary Nawab Singh takes the position of Bawasahab but he died early and his sons were too young, so his younger brother becomes Bawasahab. The eldest daughter of Chaudhary Nawab Singh was married to the Kunwar Prithvi Singh of royal family of Bharatpur jat state. Kunwar Prithvi Singh is the grandson of Maharaja Kishan Singh of Bharatpur and son of Rao Raja Girdhari Sharan Singh and Rani Rajviri Kaur. Kunwar Prithvi Singh presently lives in Koti Gulzarbagh of Bharatpur. The main attractions of village Loharkha are the haweli of Bhagwan Singh and his brothers. These hawelis are beautifully carved and are made up of lohari bricks thats why village mane is Loharkha. The Jats of Loharkha are havings vast cultivable lands and, hence, are prosperous. They are the descendents of king Porus who fought with Alexander the great.

लोहरका गांव की स्थापना पोरस जाटों ने की थी। लोहरका करीब 1860 - 62 में चौ. गुलाब सिंह जी ने बसाया था। लोहरका जमींदारों का गांव था, चौ. भगवान सिंह जो चौ.गुलाब सिंह जी के पोते थे लोहारखा समेत 8 गांवों के जमींदार थे. चौ. भगवान सिंह के तीन भाई थे। परिवार का सबसे बड़ा व्यक्ति जमींदार बन जाता है और भगवान सिंह के बाद उन्हें जमींदार की उपाधि दी गई, उनके पुत्र चौधरी नवाब सिंह ने जमींदार का पद ग्रहण किया, लेकिन उनकी जल्दी मृत्यु हो गई और उनके बेटे बहुत छोटे थे, इसलिए उनके छोटे भाई जमींदार बन गए। चौधरी नवाब सिंह की सबसे बड़ी बेटी की शादी भरतपुर जाट राज्य के शाही परिवार के कुंवर पृथ्वी सिंह से हुई थी। कुंवर पृथ्वी सिंह भरतपुर के महाराजा किशन सिंह के पोते और राव राजा गिरधारी शरण सिंह और रानी राजवीरी कौर के पुत्र हैं। कुंवर पृथ्वी सिंह वर्तमान में भरतपुर के कोठी गुलजारबाग में रहते हैं। लोहारखा गांव का मुख्य आकर्षण भगवान सिंह और उनके भाइयों की हवेली हैं जो कि सन 1891 में बनी थी । इन हवेलियों को खूबसूरती से उकेरा गया है और ये लोहारी ईंटों से बनी हैं, इसलिए गांव का नाम लोहारखा है। लोहारखा के जाटों के पास विशाल कृषि योग्य भूमि है और इसलिए वे समृद्ध हैं। वे राजा पोरस के वंशज हैं जिन्होंने सिकंदर महान को नाकों चने चबवा दिए थे और सिंधु नदी के किनारे पे 326 BC में सम्राट पोरस ने सिकंदर से युद्ध लडा था |
