Manjhwas (मांझवास/ मांजवास) (Majawas, Manjuwas) is a medium-size village in Nagaur tahsil and district in Rajasthan.

Jat Gotras

Location

It is 20 km away from Nagaur district Headquarter on Deh route. Coordinates: 27°19'8"N 73°50'31"E. It is in north of Bhadana Bana Ka and west of Deh.

According to Census-2011 information:

With total 255 families residing, Manjhwas village has the population of 1549 (of which 831 are males while 718 are females).[1]

History

It is the birth place of Foolabai. She was a famous Jat woman popularly known as Bhakt Shiromani Foolabai. She was born in the family of Jat chieftain of Manju gotra in the village Manjuwas situated in Nagaur district. She was a very brave and strong devotee of God.

Pashupatinath Temple Manjhwas

The village is famous for 'Pashupatinath Temple' & Phulabai Temple. Pashupati Nath temple is unique in India & built archaeologically as Kathmandu, Nepal.
