Mundakheri or Munda Khari (मुंडा खेड़ी) is a small village in Makrana tahsil in Nagaur district in Rajasthan.

Location

It is situated in the middle of Nagaur district. Gram panchayat HQ is 3 Km away from village. Makrana is block as well as tehsil for this village. PIN Code of the village is: 341302. It is situated 40km away from Makrana town and 95km away from Nagaur city. Khardiya is the gram panchayat of Munda Kheri village. Jhalamaliya, Noondara and Nosariya are some of the neighbouring villages.

  • Dharma Dada Ogra founded village Mundakheri in samvat 1932 (1875 AD).

History

Dharma Dada Ogra founded this village in samvat 1932 (1875 AD). Dharma Dada was a brave heart who didn't not compromise with the thakur of that time so he shifted from Khunkhuna and came here. Later on his place was known as Ogra ki Kheri. Mundakheri was a khalsa village, residents of village didn't pay any lagaan at that time.

At present there are more than 100 houses in this village which comprise of Aguni and aanthuni dhani.

At present there is a middle school and a aanganbadi kendra run by govt. of Rajasthan.

With total 84 families residing, Munda Kheri village has the population of 495 (of which 243 are males while 252 are females).[1]
