विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[2] ने लेख किया है ...निकलंक ग्राम (AS, p.499) उज्जैन ज़िला, मध्य प्रदेश में स्थित है। उज्जैन से 10 मील की दूरी पर स्थित इस ग्राम में निष्कलंक महादेव का मंदिर है, जिसमें भगवान शंकर की पंचमुखी मूर्ति स्थापित है।
