Pahuj

Pahuj River (पहूज नदी) is a river flowing through the city of Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, India. It has been referred as the Pushpavati River in religious texts.

Course
It originates near the hills of Jhansi or in Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh. It is a tributary of the Sindh River, which joins the Yamuna River in Etawah, just after the Chambal River confluence with the Yamuna river.
Pahuj is a small and dry river which passes through the Indian Grassland and Fodder Research Institute, Jhansi. It flows through the region of Bundelkhand region and a plays a major part in dividing the border of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Generally it flows at an heavy water level outside its banks in the monsoon season but drastically can also go dry or with very little flow in the summers.

Pushpavati River (पुष्पवती) (Tirtha) is mentioned in (III.83.12)
Vana Parva, Mahabharata/Book III Chapter 83 mentions names of Pilgrims. Pushpavati River (पुष्पवती) (Tirtha) is mentioned in (III.83.12). [1]....By bathing in Pushpavati (पुष्पवती)(III.83.12) and fasting there, O king, for three nights one sanctifieth his own race, besides earning the merit of the gift of a thousand kine.

विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[2] ने लेख किया है ...पहूज नदी (AS, p.537): यमुना की सहायक नदी जो बुंदेलखंड के क्षेत्र में बहती है. यह महाभारत भीष्म में उल्लिखित पुष्पवती हो सकती है.
