परौली
विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[2] ने लेख किया है ...परौली (AS, p.533), जिला कानपुर, उ.प्र., भीतरगांव से 2 मील उत्तर की ओर स्थित है. यहां भीतरगांव की भांति ही एक गुप्तकालीन शिखर सहित मंदिर के अवशेष हैं. यह सोलह [p.534] भुजाओं वाले आयताकार स्थान को घेरे हुए हैं. इसका मध्यवर्ती गर्भगृह वर्तुल है न कि भीतर गांव के मंदिर की भांति वर्गाकार.
