It is mainly a village of Rajput caste. Some people of Tewatia clan migrated here from the village of Pootha Hussainpur in Tehsil Hapur and are famous by the name of Bhatoniyas. A family of Rathi clan also migrated here from the nearby village of Chhajarsi Kuleechnagar.

Even with lower population, the Jats of the village are very influential and more prosperous than the native Rajput community.

Later, a family of Tewatia Jats migrated out from the village and now they live nearby Pilkhuwa in Lakhpat ki Mandhaiya. They are politically very successful. Ex Modinagar MLA, Rajpal Singh comes from the same family. He is grandson of Late Shri Narpat Singh of Partapur.
