Parvesh Sahib Singh

Parvesh Sahib Singh (b: 07 Nov 1977) is Member of Parliament (BJP) from West Delhi. He was first elected for 16th Lok Sabha in elections held in May 2014. Again, in May 2019 elections, he was elected for 17th Lok Sabha, defeating his rivals by a big margin.

Education

He is Post Graduate i.e. he did his MBA from Fore School of Management, Qutub Institutional Area, New Delhi in 1999.

His family

He is Son of Late Sahib Singh Verma, former Chief Minister of Delhi. Pravesh is of Lakra clan from Mundka. His sister Rachna is married to Capt Abhimanyu's brother, Dev Suman. Pravesh is married to Swati Singh, daughter of Shri Vikram Verma, politician from Madhya Pradesh.

Earlier, he had been a member of Delhi Legislative Assembly.

Social And Cultural Activities

He runs two N.G.Os. namely:- Rashtriya Swabhiman and Gramin Swabhiman. Rehabilitated two villages in Kutch of Gujarat after earth quake in 2000 and four villages in Odisha after cyclone. Honoured families of 260 martyrs of Kargil War by way of giving Honourium of 1 Lakh to each family. Poor girl marriages, literacy programmes and sports events are other initiatives
