Pradeep Sindhu
Pradeep Sindhu (d.o.b. Sept. 4, 1953) is an ex-student of IIT Kanpur. He is the co-founder of Juniper Networks Inc., USA, in 1996 and played a central role in the architecture, design, and development of the M40 while running the company. He is now responsible for the company's technical roadmap and also plays an active role in day-to-day design and development of future products. While at the Computer Science Lab at Xerox PARC, Sindhu worked on design tools for VLSI and high-speed interconnects for shared-memory multiprocessors. This work led to the commercial development of Sun Microsystems' first high-performance multiprocessor system family, which included the SS1000 and SS2000. Sindhu played key roles in the architecture, design, and development of these machines. Sindhu holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie-Mellon University.
