Said-ul-ajaib or Saidullajab (सैयद-उल-अजैब) is a Jat Village in south Delhi having three Gotras Sejwal, Tewatia and Gulia's.

Location

This village is close to Saket Metro Station. Today it is known for the Garden of Five Senses park developed by Delhi Tourism. It is situated on Mehrauli-Badarpur Road and IGNOU Main Road passes through it. Paryavaran Complex, Freedom Fighter Enclave and Sainik Farms are the major residential societies in this area.

  • The prominent family among Sejwal's of Delhi is the progeny of Late Choudharie Amin Lal Zaildar, who was the Deputy Chairman in 1923, his photographs are preserved in the Dept. of Archeology of India through the Vision Gallery. During the freedom struggle Subash Chandra Bose stayed in his Saidulajaib residence for three days while leaving for Rangoon.
  • Famous brother were Choudharie Harbir Singh and Choudharie Sukhbir Singh.
  • Sh. Yashbir Singh Choudharie was the All India Secretary of Bhartiya Kissan Morcha.The family is dealing in business of Liquid Petroleum Gas and Estate Management along with the wide interests in the Socio-Political & Legal Activities. This Sejwal family is migrated from Rajasthan three hundred years back.
