Saragthal
Saragthal (सर्गथल) or Sarakthla (सराक्थळा) is a village in Gohana tabsil of Sonipat district of Haryana.
Location
The Jawahar Lal Nehru Irrigation Canal passes by this village. It is situated next to Kasandha village on Gohana - Sonipat road. This village is connected to Bhainswal village via Bidhal - Pinnana. [1]

History
Saraka (सरक) is a place name mentioned by Panini under Sakhyadi (सख्यादि) (4.2.80.9) group. [2] and also mentioned in Mahabharata. There is need to find connection of Sarakthla with Saraka of Panini.
An ancient village here is a canal rest house on the bank of JLN feeder. In old days this village was famous for bird watching and many british and other foregiener was came here for bird watching and hunting.There is big pond named Hasal wala which was prohabitted for hunting.
