Sarwara
Sarwara hindi-(सरवारा) Punjabi-(ਸਰਵਾਰਾ)[1][2] Sarvara (सरवारा) are the Jat Sikh[3] in Punjab and Haryana.Sarwara word means to sacrifice head( सर बलिदान करना या वार देना).They are found mainly in Powadh region of Punjab (some areas are in Haryana now example-Ambala and Panchkula ) and speak powadhi or puadhi dailect of punjabi. Sarwar ( सरवर)is clan of Muslim jats (sarwar word meaning is leader or chief [urdu]) found in Afghanistan.[4]
