Sendhwa is located at MH&MP Border 21.68°N 75.1°E. It has an average elevation of 409 metres (1341 feet).
Economy
Sendhwa is a famous cotton market, this area is adjacent to the cotton belt of Maharashtra, many cotton ginning factories are located in Sendhwa, along with this a wide market of cotton is available here.
Sendhwa is primarily agricultural and forest lands. Mechanised farming has only been recently introduced. Cotton is a big crop, as are pulses, such as mung beans and moth beans. Other crops include wheat, sorghum (jowar), maize, millet (kodo-kutki), especially pearl millet (bajra), rapeseed (canola), mustard, and urd and other pulses (gram).

जाट इतिहास
सेंधवा कस्बे में निवासरत जाट परिवार 45 वर्ष पूर्व सीकर (राजस्थान) से आकर यहां बसे हैं । सेंधवा मध्यप्रदेश के बड़वानी जिले का एक नगर है । यह सेंधवा तहसील का मुख्यालय भी है । सेंधवा शब्द "सेंधव" से आया है , जो होलकर के समय यहां के शासक हुआ करते थे । यहां कपास की मंडी है । कृषि उपज मंडी को सबसे अधिक आय कपास से ही होती है । यहां के जाट परिवार उद्योग धंधे में संलग्न है । कुछ शासकीय/अशासकीय सेवाओं में भी कार्यरत हैं ।
सेंधवा
सेंधव (AS, p.985): मध्य प्रदेश के बड़वानी जिले में स्थित एक ऐतिहासिक स्थान है. 14 वीं सदी के प्पश्चात की इमारतों के ध्वंसावशेषों के लिए यह स्थान उल्लेखनीय है. [2]
बिजासन माता का प्राचीन मंदिर
बताया जाता है कि बड़ी बिजासन माता का प्राचीन मंदिर मप्र व महाराष्ट्र की सीमा पर मुंबई-आगरा राजमार्ग पर सतपुड़ा की पर्वत श्रृंखला की गोद में स्थापित है। मंदिर 300 वर्ष से अधिक पुराना है। मंदिर में मध्यप्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र सहित गुजरात के हजारों श्रद्धालु आते हैं। यहां अब तक कुल तीन बार मंदिर का जीर्णोद्धार कार्य हो चुका है। माता प्राचीनकाल से प्राकृतिक रूप से पिंडी स्वरूप में विराजित हैं। मां बड़ी बिजासनी माता महाराष्ट्रीयन समाज की कुलदेवी हैं, जिसके चलते यहां महाराष्ट्रीयन समाज के श्रद्धालुओं की संख्या हजारों में होती है। बड़ी बिजासन माता महाराष्ट्र सहित गुजरात व मध्य प्रदेश के लोगों की आराध्य कुलदेवी हैं।
