Sepoy Bhawani Singh was the first to get Indian to get Indian Order of Merit award in the Gilzai war.
सिपाही भवानी सिंह - गिलजाई की लड़ाई में पहला आई.ओ.एम. बहादुरी का पदक मिला। याद रहे 1856 के बाद विक्टोरिया क्रास (वी.सी.) मिलना प्रारम्भ हुआ।[1]
