  • Risaldar Badlu Singh - Indian recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry on 23 September 1918 in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.
  • Subedar Richhapal Ram Lamba - Victoria Cross award, which is a record of bravery unparallel in Indian Army,for his brave deeds on 7 February 1941.
  • CHM Chhailu Ram Victoria Cross awarded because he displayed exceptional courage on 19 and 20 Apr. 1943 in Greece.

The Highest award of bravery in Pakistan is Nishan-e-Haider which is the highest military decoration given by Pakistan. It is the equivalent to the Victoria Cross. The Recipients are:
