Ujhana

Ujhana (उझाना/ उझाणा) is a village Narwana Tehsil of Jind district of Haryana.

Location

This village is situated on the main road after Narwana, near Punjab border. It is also connected by pucca road with Kaithal city.

Population of Ujhana as of Census 2011 is 11,696 (Males- 6,193; Females- 5,503)^[1].

Manjit Singh Chahal (born 1 September 1989), from Ujhana, Jind, is an Indian middle-distance runner who specialises in the 800 metres and 1500 metres events. He represented India at the 2018 Asian Games and won the gold in the 800 metres event at Jakarta.
